When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and only call the surgery after sufficient time has elapsed. Please telephone after 2:00pm for test results.
We ask patients to telephone the practice for their results, although there may be times when the doctor may think it’s necessary to telephone you.
All results will be viewed by the doctor who will have commented on the result. Our reception staff are able to let you know the result and the doctor’s comment but are not clinically qualified to advise you further about this.
If you would like to discuss the results with your doctor, please ask the receptionist to book you an appointment.
Please be advised, if you are collecting any forms or documents on behalf of another patient we will need their verbal consent unless otherwise stated in their record.
